The Teacher Community Solutions Forum is a FREE service offered by TeacherSolutions.NET.  It has been setup to allow teachers to discuss topics and issues of interest and importance to them.

Teachers

Interested in sharing ideas with teachers from your school, or across town, or even across the country?  Well now you can and its completely free.  Below are the different levels available to teachers on the forum.

*Anyone can view the forum currently.  Though this may one day change to only registered users.

• Visitor - Registered internet user.  Visitors can only view the forum.
• Guest - Member Teachers can invite other teachers from non-member schools.  Guests can add comments to existing discussions.
• Member - Members can add comments to existing discussions and start new discussions.  They can also attach images and files to their comments.

There are two ways to become a member of the Teacher Community Forum.  1) You can become a member through Teacher Solutions by signing up for a web site at TeacherSolutions.NET.  2) You can convince your school to become a member school (see below).  It's free for both the teachers and the school.  

Schools

Interested in providing a online forum for your teachers, but the cost is prohibitive?  Perhaps the thought of constantly policing a large forum is intimidating.  Well now you can become a partner school and offer a forum at no cost and minimal effort.

Requirements for member status: 

• Provide Teacher Solutions Staff with the root URL of your school email for our teacher verification process. (example: ORHS.edu)
• Send our welcome email to the entire school staff

That's it.

The Catch

So by now you may be wondering what's the catch.  No one does anything for free any more.  The only catch is that people using the forum will be exposed to advertising for teacher-related products.  Don't worry, the advertising is unobtrusive - we hate popups and rollover ads just as much as you do.  Most notably of these products is the teacher web page service provided by TeacherSolutions.NET  While these web site services are not free, they are very affordable!
